What is it?

Young, Migrant & Welsh is a new Heritage Lottery Funded project which engages young people from diverse backgrounds in researching and documenting their own experiences of coming to and living in Wales. The project builds on the success of the Chips, Curry & Cappuccino project which documented the diverse food heritage of Swansea and produced a teaching pack and an exhibition at the National Waterfront Museum. The Young, Migrant & Welsh project will also produce a film and teaching pack and exhibition at the National Museum of Wales.

What the project offers:

The project offers young people aged 14 to 25 living in Swansea or Cardiff the opportunity to access training in film-making, photography, and gain experience of working in the heritage sector on this exciting and timely project.

Who we work with:

The project is a partnership project with National Waterfront Museum Wales, and also works closely with other partners including People’s Collection Wales, as well as youth groups in Swansea and Cardiff.

Where?
