Providing orientation support to Syrian Refugee families
What is it?
EYST provides orientation support to Syrian, Afghan Refugee families resettled in Carmarthenshire under the Home Office Syrian Resettlement Programme. This includes support for families to access key services including housing, health, education, and community safety services, as well as English classes and moving into volunteering, training and employment.
What the project offers:
Family support workers work closely with the families providing regular home-visits, signposting, advice and a whole-family support service ensuring that all needs are met and opportunities accessed.
Who we work with:
We link closely with the Local Authorities in each area, as well as Housing providers, schools, health services and community safety agencies.
