Right to Education

Right to Education (R2E) project is an all-Wales specialist educational, advocacy and support service targeted at ethnic minority young people. We can support young people who are experiencing disputes with their schools, including school exclusions. The project aims to support young people to have improved access to their right to education.

What we can do:

• Provide young people and their families with information and support around the disciplinary, exclusion and appeals processes.
• Advocate on behalf of young people, including representation at governors meetings or appeals panels.
• Provide signposting and referral to legal support from specialist children’s legal centres and educational lawyers.
