The Progression Project is a 4 year project which aims to help marginalised young people aged 16 to 30 into sustainable employment through peer-led support. Funded by the Queens Young Leaders Programme, the project is a partnership project between EYST, Cwmbran Centre for Young People and Tanyard Youth Project in Pembrokeshire.
The project offers young people support to increase their employability through training and accredited courses. Young people also have the opportunity to become employment champions, supporting and mentoring other young people into employment.
The project works closely with education and training providers such as Gower College, Rathbone and Universities, as well as youth and community organisations. Young people can be referred or self-refer to the programme.
