My Space Project
The EYST’ My Space’ project is a Community resource project which aims to establish the EYST youth drop in centre in Swansea as an accessible, flexible and multi-functional community space offering a range of facilities to ethnic minority young people as well as linking them to the wider community including diverse groups in terms of age, gender, race, and faith. The aim is to equip the ethnic minority young people with the skills, opportunities and confidence to be active and integrated members of their community.
Since its inception in September 2011, the project has been a great success, and we now have a full and varied timetable offering a wide range of services to different sections of the community, including Adult English Classes; Youth clubs for young people with disabilities, Parent Toddler groups, Dad’s groups, and much more….

We believe that giving people from different walks of life the opportunity to get together improves community cohesion, and reduces the barriers, which divide us.
